Early 19th Century Handpainted Derby Inkwell. Lovely small piece adds easily that unique antique accent when displayed & fitting for smaller spaces. An early 19th century Derby inkwell handpainted in Imari Pattern & bearing the handpainted Duesbury Derby mark in red to the base which dates it to between 1784 & 1810. Condition is good, no damages but with only some wearing of the gilt decoration in places & light crazing, the inner pot for the inkt is missing. This piece can be used as a small vase without it.
