The glass piece featured here is a 1920's -1960's art glass long - stemmed bud vase in a deep purple. This stunning vase is an amazing piece of glass! A few things that make it unique are the ruffled edging of the pulled top & the footed base. Please note due to its age that this vase does have some minor flaws, but no damage. For example, the bottom pontil is rough which is common in the old blown glass (more modern glass often has this area ground out or smoothed over). It has bubbles within the body, which can be seen in the photos, & some flecks of ash. You can also see the area (through creases) where the base was pressed onto/applied to the vase. So beautiful! Measurements are 9 inches tall & 4.5 inches diameter across the top crimped rim. To care for this purchase over time, I recommend hand washing or spot cleaning vintage items so as to maintain their appearance & to prevent unnecessary damage.
