Description
1965 North York Moors National Park Poster, John Sell Cotman, Sutton Bank, Travel & Tourism, walking trail, wall art decor This is a 1965 National Parks poster of the North York Moors National Park showing the natural beauty of Sutton Bank from a painting by John Sell Cotman. This was prepared by the National Parks Commission by the Central Office of Information. Dimensions: 20 x 15 in (51 x 38 cm) Condition: there is some slight fading to the left edge, see photos. The strapline is Our Heritage. The North York Moors is an upland area in north-eastern Yorkshire, England. It contains one of the largest expanses of heather moorland in the United Kingdom. The area was designated as a National Park in 1952, through the National Parks & Access to the Countryside Act 1949. Because of the age of these posters, there are areas of wear & tear, particularly on the edges. I have done my best to take photos where they are torn. The good news is that when framed, the tears press up well against glass, & edges can be hidden by mats. Any wear picked up from years are part of the charm. When framed these colourful & detailed posters can become a centre piece for any room, to remind us of a simpler time. These posters are sent as unframed. They will be rolled up & delivered in a cardboard tube for protection. See the FAQ for more information on shipping, tracking & insurance options. 1965 North York Moors National Park Poster, John Sell Cotman, Sutton Bank, Travel & Tourism, Walking Trail, Wall Art Decor
