Bernard Chadebec was an employee of the Institut National de Recherche et de Scurit for nearly forty years, from 1965 until 2005. This French institute promotes campaigns on any subject it considers important for the health & safety of men & women at work. Chadebec was employed as 'affichiste', & designed posters that brought safety instructions to the work floor. Although he has produced more than 300 posters, printed at 30 millions copies, he remains unknown of graphic design history. These rare posters were posted in factories in France & any French speaking countries.
