Description
This is a wheel thrown vase, made with a flecked stoneware clay which reacts with the glaze to produce a beautiful mottled effect. I have also reshaped the piece while the clay was still wet, then carved patterns into it. These modifications to the vase create ruts & grooves that can enhance the flow of the glaze during the firing.
