This is a beautiful Tyrone Crystal flared footed vase, it just sparkles when it catches the light. It has a lovely weight to it & feels substantial in your hand. This bud vase measures just 4.25 inches tall, it has a simple cut glass pattern called Dalriada. The name Dalriada, Irish Dl Riada or Riata, denotes a Gaelic kingdom from the 5th century AD. This kingdom was composed of two parts the Irish Dalraida in Northern Ireland & Scottish Dalriada. The name Dalraida is in common use today in the Ballymena area of Co Antrim. Making a wedding proposal? a single rose in this crystal vase would set the scene. A beautiful present for an engagement present or a bridal shower or another item for your bottom drawer. The vase is etched with the traditional Tyrone logo. in excellent condition Glassmaking in Tyrone dates back as far as 1771 & in 1971 Tyrone Crystal was set up by Father Austin Eustace to create employment in the Dungannon area of County Tyrone.
