1924. Halftone print of a poster, designed by Edward Wadsworth, for an exhibition of English Graphic art. (Please note: As would be expected with an original halftone print, there is printing on the reverse of this item.). Quarto-sized sheet from scarce first edition of E.McKnight Kauffer's book, 'The Art of the Poster: Its Origin, Evolution & Purpose'. Published by Cecil Palmer, London (1924) with engraving by the Sun Engraving Co... Printed on coated paper. Measurement is for sheet size, to include image & border. Unmounted. Light sunning to edges with light creasing to lower part of sheet. Please note photos 2 & 3 are for information as to source & do not form part of the sale. This is a genuine 1924 print & not a reproduction. Our usual packaging: Beautifully presented in biodegradable cello bag backed by 250gsm recycled card.
