Melamine placemat in our mosaic Harlequin design. The pattern brings a boho charm to your home entertaining. Strong & durable due to the solid eucalyptus board in the middle. The melamine coating is easy to wipe clean & heat resistant. Each placemat is hand-finished with Italian dark green baize backing to prevent slipping & to protect your furniture. Care instructions: Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Do not put in the dishwasher or submerge in water Process: The original wood veneers were dyed in Italy & then laser cut into triangles. Each one was gently sanded on all sides before being laid into the geometric design. Once dry it was gently sanded again & then coats of sealer were applied to bring out the subtle colours of the veneers.
