These wood slice coasters feature a beautiful mountainscape with a stippled night sky & a crescent moon. Each piece is entirely hand drawn - never with a laser or engraver! The design is burned into the wood by hand using a technique called pyrography: a free handed art of burning wood with a professional pyrography pen heated to approximately 800 degrees Fahrenheit. All coasters are sealed with a finished with food safe, waterproof wood finish. This gives them a beautiful, matte finish while bringing out the beautiful natural grain of the wood & protecting the coaster from day-to-day wear.
