Description
Black & terracotta red round ceramic handmade vessel with natural wood smoked effect. Wild clay foraged in Sydney & processed by hand. (Which is a long & arduous process!) I process my clay minimally to allow the variation in texture & the inclusion of rocks & sand. This produces a very 'raw' finish. After kiln firing to 1200c I smoke-fired this in my backyard pit fire to produce the surface variation of blacks. Unglazed raw finish with stone-coloured interior. Due to the nature of this wild clay, this is not 100% waterproof. It is advisable to put a container inside if using as a vase. Width approx: 16 cm / 6.5 inches Height approx: 10 cm / 4 inches Plant not included if pictured. Hand washing recommended. Colour may vary due to monitor settings. Returns accepted.
