A vibrant blue & white vase, timelessly elegant & with its original sales labels. The vase is tulip-shaped, with a wide mouth at the top. The exterior is painted with a blue & white floral pattern, & finished with a high-shine glaze. It is most likely to be formed of fine china, possibly porcelain. The vase is formed in the shape of a traditional ginger jar, & is well-sized to work as a trinket jar or a storage pot for the kitchen. It is equally well-suited to holding a bunch for short-steamed blooms. Measurements... Length: approx 9cm Width of base: approx 7cm Diameter of mouth: approx 5.5cm The base is marked with the words 'Floris' & 'London', which dates the piece as mid to late twentieth century. The piece is in very good overall, & still retains its original sale labels (please see photos).
