This is a striking Early 20th Century Ebony Vase in the form of a neo-classical Urn. The vase has a round pedestal base, a classic urn shaped body & a rounded rim. The vase is stamped REAL EBONY on the underside of the base & date to around 1900 to 1920. There is no indication of a maker. Ebony items were very popular in the late 19th & early 20th century but since the fifties Ebony has become much scarcer & other materials have taken over. Condition is very good with just the minimal wear that you would expect with use & the passage of time. Please make sure to view all the photographs.
