On offer is this lovely antique teapot. It's in good condition overall, the remaining silver plate shines up well still - extensive ware all over however which has exposed the base Britannia metal (dark grey); light scuffs & scratches too as well as the odd shallow ding commensurate with age but as shown all adding to the aged charm & character of the piece. It's of traditional form, plain in design yet elegant in appearance. It still retains original black composite handle & lid finial which are both in good order. The interior is also in good clean order. Supported by four floral leaf decorated feet. Unmarked for a maker, Sheffield produced, circa late 19th century. It measures 25.5cm (10 inches) handle to spout end, 16cm (6 & 1/4 inches) in total height to the top of the lid finial & despite the condition issues raised is ready to be collected & enjoyed once again!
