Amazing vintage set of 4 7 tea/side plates by W. H. Grindley/Alfred Clough, distributed by F.C. Emery & Sons Ltd. Satin white ironstone. Beautiful sage green colour rim with gold banding & pretty pink cherry blossom flower pattern to centre. This design was probably in production in the 1950s, however, with all of the different factory markings this piece was more than likely produced during the 60s onwards. Superb plates in very good used vintage condition. Slight utensil marks commensurate with age (see photos) however, no signs of major crazing, chips or damage.
