Have nothing in your home that you don't know to be useful or believe to be beautiful William Morris Marvellous Rococo Revival Teacup Y89 Factory hand painted with landscape design in the centre, embossed & gilt rim. Dainty flowers on the body. Not stamped but the pattern number 961 is hand painted on the underside attributed as one of Y89 Factory. Considering the age, the cup is in great antique condition. Light handling wear. Firing flaws on the base. The colours shine brightly. Please study the photos carefully. The dimensions are 3 7/8 wide & 2 tall. This magnificent collection belonged to an expert of 1750 - 1900 British Potteries, which he lovingly collected, catalogued & researched for over 50 + years.
