Unique chawan or Japanese tea bowl in the traditional wabi sabi shape, every part of the surface of this bowl was shaped by fingers to feel pleasant feelings when you hold a cup in your hand during tea drinking. Bowl was made with mix of the white & red fireclay. The outer side is covered with a thin layer of porcelain engobe. The inner side is covered with food glaze. Wood firing in anagama at a temperature of 1300. Measurements: - diameter: 10 cm (3.94 inch); - higth: 8 cm (3.16 inch); - capacity: 300 ml (10.14 oz.). Weight 0.3 kg.
