POPPY FIELDS #3 A handwoven tapestry of the sun rising/setting over poppy fields under puffy cream clouds, made with my own yarns which I spun by hand using my traditional drop spindle, or spinning wheel. My weavings are all one of a kind, each one has its own personality & is an original piece of art. The pictures only bring so much to the table, in person the depth of the colors & nubby woven fibers are even softer, more warm, & inviting. A beautiful, conversation inspiring addition to your home. This weaving is part of a one-time, unique collection of weavings entitled 'Poppy Fields'. This theme won't be repeated & is one of a kind. Materials: Woolen hand spun yarns, & velvet. I spun the yarns, & purchased the hand dyed velvet & recycled sari silks. Mounting Instructions: Hang on a nail to mount on the wall, or rest it like a picture frame on your mantel.
