The inner face is brushed fleece effectively trapping a layer of air that is then warmed by body heat resulting in an insulating barrier against the cold outer air. The fabric is also highly breathable so even if the intensity increases moisture can escape leaving you dry and comfortable. To aid moisture management and ventilation further a breathable mesh centre back panel is used. This makes the tights very well suited to cold, dry rides of varying intensities.
