The clever Match System optimises cleat engagement for any MTB clip-in system, keeping you confidently in control when flying over technical terrain. The sleek and stylish upper design uses premium materials, delivering a snug comfortable fit as well as excellent trail-ready durability. Perforations and mesh windows offer excellent breathability to avoid sweat build-up inside and ensure you enjoy fresh feet throughout your ride. A reinforced toe box protects against impacts while TPU reinforcements add abrasion resistance in vulnerable areas. A padded tongue also adds an extra layer of comfort and protection. Match Box MTB Pedal System Crankbrothers have carefully engineered their unique Match Box cleat box to ensure you enjoy quick and easy clipping in, no matter which clip-in MTB pedal system you prefer. Ramped zones to the front and rear of the cleat box make for a quick and easy cleat engagement and add extra mud clearance for all-weather performance. An extended cleat track, the 'race zone', lets you get just the right cleat position for bike control and pedal stability too. And with its stiff shank, you'll enjoy excellent power transfer on the more pedal-heavy bits of trail. Meanwhile, when you're off the bike and walking up to session a trail feature, the toe and heel lugs provide traction on loose and muddy surfaces and the toe is ramped for improved walkability too. Cleat Guidance These MTB shoes are compatible with MTB pedal systems, which use cleats with SPD standard (2-bolt standard). They come supplied with pre-installed Crankbrothers Match Shim and a pre-installed cleat for Crankbrothers pedals but are compatible with other systems e.g.: Shimano SPD, Time ATAC, Look MTB, Xtreme MTB, Wellgo MTB, Ritchey MTB.
