Chronoswiss Watch Regulator ReSec Classic. CH-8783-BKBR. A timeless watch of first degree, the Chronoswiss Regulator ReSec Classic is the ultimate everyday companion surprising with bold colouring and a Swiss made movement. On first glance, the galvanic black base appears understated but at its heart lies breathtaking guilloche detailing and a reddish brown hour scale around the perimeter with circular graining. At the centre, two Trigono-shaped hands display the hours and minutes, lacquered and with Superluminova inlays for instant legibility. At 12 o’clock, a large double-windowed display reveals the date while parallel at 6 o’clock, a retrograde seconds function demands the most attention. The Chronoswiss Regulator ReSec Classic watch sits neatly on the wrist by fault of a luxurious stainless steel bracelet and folding buckle and slender, contoured lugs. The lugs make way to the 41 millimetre stainless steel case equipped with a screw down case back, partly polished and partly finished onion-style crown and polished screw down bezel topped by curved sapphire crystal glass, a material renowned for its scratch resistance and treated with anti-reflective coating. Through the exhibition case back you can witness the Calibre C.302 automatic winding movement alongside the polished pallet lever, escape wheel, screws and perlage decorated bridges and plates. To mark its Swiss made status, the Chronoswiss ReSec Classic watch also showcases an engraved and rhodium plated oscillating rotor adorned with classic Cotes de Geneve engraving.
