The Nano Flex Xtra Dry fabric used for the Nanoflex Pro 2 Omloop Bib Shorts is an advancement of the original Nano Flex, with a tighter-knit double-layer construction for warmth, and the water repellency treatment is improved to offer even more protection in the rain. At the same time, you still have the benefits of incredible breathability and stretch that make this short so impressively comfortable when riding. It's not just about the fabric though. Castelli gives the shorts their Progetto X² Air seat pad, designed with multi-density foam in variable thicknesses and without seams, it will give you support where you need it most. Seams have been kept to a minimum throughout the shorts, for both comfort and to keep water out, and the long legs, cut with raw edge, finish just above the knee for increased leg protection. While this short is perfect for wet conditions, it’s also a great choice for dry and cold if you want to pair it with knee or leg warmers.
