The neoprene construction with glued seams and a finished top edge that helps prevent water from coming in make for a bootie that provides excellent wet weather protection. If you're looking for a pair of uni sex overshoes that can be ridden on road and off, protects when it rains and keeps off a cold wind then the Diluvio C is just the ticket.
