This state of the art wood core uses utilises dual-density vertical laminations of alternating softwood/hardwood to reduce overall weight with no sacrifice in strength or performance. To give the Rewind its unique park friendly ride, this is then re-profiled with Burton’s innovative Fillet’O’Flex. This ultra-thin profiling creates soft zones throughout the length, strategically placed to deliver the perfect jib feel. Where the profile is thinned out, underfoot pads are added to dampen out impacts and reduce foot fatigue. Now to ensure that the Rewind isn’t overly soft and to make sure it performs equally as well when you’re charging around the mountain, Burton creates the structural layers from torsionally responsive tri ax glass.
