Dressed in breathtaking coloured gemstones, rose gold appliques and exotic alligator leather straps, the Breitling Chronomat South Sea watch collection is the Swiss watch manufacturer’s latest Breitling watch for women. This particular beige-dialled variant takes inspiration from the pastel shades of summer with a breathtaking pinkish beige dial and matching beige alligator leather strap. The true centrepiece to the Breitling ladies watch however is the unidirectional ratcheted bezel, a feature characteristic of the Breitling Chronomat series, which for the first time has been beautifully adorned with an array of coloured gemstones. As with all Breitling watches for women, this Chronomat South Sea model is just as beautiful as it is functional. It’s 36mm stainless steel case delivers only the best in comfort and performance with cambered sapphire crystal glass treated with anti-reflective coating on both sides, a solid screw down case back and a non-screw locked crown with two gaskets to produce a water resistant rating of 100 metres. The Breitling Chronomat South Sea Ladies watch is also equipped with a COSC-certified movement. The Breitling Calibre 10 automatic winding movement is based on the ETA 2892-A2 and delivers classic central hands for hours, minutes and seconds and a date window at 6 o’clock. The Swiss made movement also promises a 42 hour power reserve and a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour.
