Since the patent was filed in 1967, Sammode's original tube lamp has become a classic of French industrial and architectural lighting. 100% French manufacture for this simple-looking lamp - a transparent tube inserted into a sealed steel structure - which uses a sophisticated technique. Popular among professionals for its performance and robustness, the Sammode tube lamp quickly became cult object. Sammode lights are used in many prestigious buildings such as the National Library of France in Paris, the Ray and Maria Stata Center designed by Franck Gehry in Cambridge (United States) or the Mama Shelter Hotel in Paris, decorated by Philippe Starck. Sammode brings its industrial excellence to the general public by creating a specific range of lighting for the home. All Sammode Studio lights are manufactured, assembled and packaged at its Châtillon-sur-Saône plant in the Vosges. These quality lamps with their industrial design combine timeless lines and the latest technology. They provide appropriate, refined lighting, as well as a singular industrial aesthetic with a strong identity. The Bodom floor lamp is designed to light up terraces and gardens. Watertight from top to toe, Bodom will show off both your indoor and outdoor spaces to best effect, in all seasons. The Bodom floor lamp consists of a lacquered aluminium pole and a grey concrete base. At the top of the pole, the large transparent polycarbonate tube reveals its internal reflector which consists of a multitude of tinted aluminium strips. These metal strips soften the light and tinge it with beautiful silver, copper, brass or bluish shades. The latest-generation LED module integrated into the tube ensures efficient lighting. This floor lamp come with a dimmer (waterproof housing located on the cable). Its light can be adjusted to provide soft illumination during dinner on the terrace or, alternatively, become a functional lamp for reading.
