Specially selected by the Best of British team for Marks and Spencer, this short sleeve shirt, is made from 100% linen, designed and woven in Ireland by Baird McNutt. Featuring a clean bluff edge collar and turn back detail on the sleeves, Best of British shirts are manufactured in Somerset by Rayner & Sturges. ,Baird McNutt was born through the collaboration of two Irish families: the Bairds, who founded a linen mill in 1912, and the McNutts, who were renowned for their weaving expertise. With over 100 years’ experience, Baird McNutt’s linen is still produced using the traditional methods, ensuring only the best quality fabrics and weaves. Rayner & Sturges began making detachable shirt collars in Chard, Somerset in the early 20th century. By 1935 the company had become shirt makers in their own right.
