The 2022 Orbea Rise M20 Electric Mountain Bike in Ocean and Ice Green is an e-bike designed to ride like your favourite non-electric trail bike. The Rise M20 achieves this by using a lightweight carbon frame combined with a custom tuned Shimano EP8 motor. Working jointly with Shimano, Orbea developed the proprietary electronics and batteries with the Shimano EP8 motor configured to work perfectly running Orbea's specific RS firmware.Rider Synergy (RS) is a new riding experience that enhances the joy of traditional trail riding with smooth support that feels as natural and alive as your own body. Less e more bike is the tagline used, and the concept seems to be to take away the disconnection an electric bike can have instead to enhance rather than dominate the ride. The RS battery pack is light small and discrete. Lower power consumption and more reliance on your legs extend battery consumption to up to 4 hours for those big rides. For longer rides, you can get the range extender with gives an additional 4 hours ride time that's an eight-hour day in the saddle.
