What I do is go find these old fashioned carpets; shave & antique washed. The result is a modern, unique & a beautiful rug that you can proudly lay on your floor. Handwoven in Mid 1900's these rugs were given as gifts to newly married couples. They were kept in a corner of the house for many years without being used. Eventually these beautiful & colorful rugs went out of fashion until someone discovered a way to modernize them by Sun-fading. The process of Sun-fading mutes & softens the colors, making these beautiful vintage rugs fit today's modern homes.
