Experimenting with the notion of modest femininity, Zimmermann presents the ‘Bellitude’ dress. Known for feminine flourishes and playful prints, the Australian label reimagines traditional shapes for the modern woman. Crafted from pure silk chiffon, the ultra-feminine design rebels with cutouts at the waist and a barely-there back. The more traditional floral print is sliced with a plunging neckline, meeting the angled cut-outs to complement the silhouette, giving the dress a sultry edge. Sheer sleeves fall from the shoulders, punctuated with ruffled detailing to create a billowing effect. This detail is echoed in the main body of the dress, layering the skirt which is finished with a curved hem and ruffled trim. Turning to the rear, a lace-up back takes centre stage in tonal print.
