These ingenious, pre-soaked (and travel-friendly!) PHA+ Resurfacing Facial Pads are infused with a blend of four different hydroxyl acids to gradually resurface skin and in turn, reduce the appearance of lines, scars, dark spots, dullness and enlarged pores.Polyhydroxy acids are natural, safe and non-irritating, with lactobionic polyhydroxy acid (derived from lactose) working to enhance exfoliation of the uppermost layer of skin. It strengthens and thickens skin while binding with atmospheric water to create a natural gel-film that deeply hydrates, plumps and lends a velvety smoothness to skin. Alpha hydroxy acids have a deeper, dermal effect – boosting the production of collagen and thus increasing the strength, elasticity and thickness of deeper layers. Beta hydroxy acids (like our friend salicylic acid) work to minimise the visibility of fine lines while tackling blemishes by reducing inflammation and eliminating pore-clogging debris. And – while evening tone to reveal a luminous complexion – this formula even uses antioxidant-rich green Shiso leaf to protect from the damaging effects of everyday aggressors.
