Evergreen in nature, these shrubs are a perfect solution for those looking to introduce some interest and colour to tired borders, patios, or balconies. Impressive, bright orange leaves emerge and coat green stems at the tail end of spring and the start of summer, around April and May. While the colour is impressive, it only stands out more as it contrasts excellently against dark green leaves, which remain in place regardless of the month. Japanese Azaleas, such as these, have developed an excellent reputation, and look impressive whether potted up and placed on the patio, or used for ground cover in borders.
