One of the easiest and most hardy herbaceous perennials, Potentilla Fruticosa 'Goldstar' will reward you with masses of golden-yellow saucer-shaped flowers throughout the summer, contrasting wonderfully against rich green and bushy foliage. A versatile and attractive feature in many gardens, the bushy and low-growing habit makes this perfect for the front of beds and borders, as well as rock and gravel gardens. It is also a great choice for banks and slopes – and a colourful option for informal hedging. It makes an eye-catching display when planted in a pot or container on the patio or decking. This deciduous, low-maintenance shrub boasts good pest and disease resistance. Very hardy, when fully established this will tolerate drought and extremely cold temperatures. Place in full sun or partial shade, and ideally in moist but well-drained soil. Potentillas are happy in most soil conditions. Supplied as an established plant in a 9cm pot ready to plant out.
