The York Barbell 6' International Chrome Olympic Bar was born from York's vast knowledge of bar design and production. It is perhaps the highest quality, most functional and attractive economy Olympic bar of today. Each bar is manufactured in our own factory from North American made steel. The bar is less flexible, more rigid making it an excellent choice when performing static, highly controlled, slow movements such as chest press, deadlift and squats. The weight bar also performs well for Olympic Training. With a minimum tensile strength of 100,000 psi, the sleeves are machined to a precise 1.975" diameter to accommodate 2" Olympic plates.
