The long, tapered nose combined with the flatter platform provide lots of room for shifting you position while riding, with the long nose making for a comfortable perch on steeper climbs. Comfort is paramount with any saddle and the Silverado uses WTB's flex-tuned shell and HLX padding to give you all the comfort you need as well as an optimised padding to weight ratio; there's no more padding than you need for the sake of it in order to keep low and comfort high. Further reducing weight are the lightweight but durable chromoly rails, helping the Silverado weight just 265g in the Narrow size and also helps keep the price in check.
