WTB Riddler 2.4 27.5" Comp Tyre
Description
Fully equipped for the demands of modern MTB riding, this versatile tyre comes equipped with a high-quality Dual DNA compound. This compound blends two high-quality rubber compounds together for superior rolling performance. Its centreline tread also features a firmer rubber compound that rolls fast and resists tread wear, while the side knobs are composed of softer, slower-rebounding rubber to improve control and grip. Another benefit is it features tubeless-ready technology, so you can enjoy tubeless advantages such as the ability to run lower tyre pressures for improved traction, lower rolling resistance and fewer chances of flats or punctures. This makes it fully equipped for fast-paced trail riding across a range mixed of terrain conditions. Named after WTB athlete Nathan Riddle, the Riddler hungers for speed yet hangs on in the corners, remaining composed and unflappable, just like Nathan. Large, supported toothy side knobs and densely packed, low centre tread make the Riddler a hit beyond gravity enthusiasts. Tubeless Ready MTB Tyre Tubeless Compatible System (TCS) is WTB's standardised tubeless system. This tyre features a TCS tubeless casing, which nearly eliminates flats and allows lower tyre pressures to improve traction and comfort over a traditional tube-type tyre. As a result, it's perfect for day-long adventures with your riding buddies or exploring new trails on your own. Built for Speed Built for unfaltering speed through a wide range of conditions, the Riddler delivers swift efficiency for riders who value traction but still prioritise leading the pack at the end of a long ride. The WTB Riddler 2.4 27.5" Comp Tyre is an ideal upgrade for a dependable rolling performance as you charge from trail to trail. Technologies: Dual DNA Compound: Two rubber compounds. The centerline tread features a firmer rubber compound that rolls fast and resists tread wear while the side knobs are composed of softer, slower-rebounding rubber to improve control and grip. All Dual DNA tyres fall within the Fast Rolling category. Tyre Pressure Information: WTB's tyre pressure recommendations have changed over time due to further developments in technology. Riders may always reference the markings on their tyres for allowed pressures ranges, but WTB calculate pressure recommendations based on an average rider weight of 160-180 lbs and suggest increasing the minimum recommended pressure by 2-3psi for every additional 10 lbs of rider weight. Never exceed the maximum tyre pressure marked on a tyre.
