This rug plain colour gives a good look when kelim is spread in a bedroom or living room. The term 'kilim' means 'to spread roughly' of mangolian origin. Modern kelim is flat weave and made of fine wool. The pattern consists of narrow stripes, containing very small geometric designs. Wool is a natural textile fibre and one of the most used materials for rug making. Wool rugs are highly durable and perfectly capable of resisting wear and tear of everyday use. Wool has a naturally dirt-repelling effect and is easy to keep clean. It is also flame resistant and characteristically retains it’s shaped so that the pile of the rug always rises.
