A cozy red and white 100% merino wool scarf, knit with artisan intarsia methods and embroidered by hand. The embroidery is an interpretation of one of collaborating artist James Watkins' painted spirals, by Italian artisan knitting studio Manusa. Sustainability Marpha is our gold standard of sustainability. Our merino wool yarn is sourced from Italy and carries GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) and mulesing-free credentials. The scarf is knit by artisan studio Manusa, a social cooperative based in Tuscany, Italy. Manusa hires and trains socially fragile people to encourage rediscovery of personal creative skills while preserving local artisan craft in their area. Hand wash in cold water. Do not bleach. Lay flat to dry. Iron on low, inside out. No dry clean.
