Made with raffia, a natural and 100% biodegradable material. Garnished with bio-based vegan leather, made from a mixture of olive industry wastes and other plant wastes. Handwoven by the members of FSWW (Foundation For The Support Of Women's Work) an NGO in Istanbul, aiming to empower low-income women. Lining inside the pockets is a recycled fabric from pet bottles. To preserve the original quality of this product, avoid keeping your bag in direct heat or sunlight for prolonged periods of time. Try to keep the leather away from humid or wet environments and out of heavy rainfall. If it does get wet, remove any residual water immediately with paper towels, pack loosely with paper and allow the leather to dry naturally. Avoid rubbing your product against rough surfaces. Keep it away from acetone, petrol, and alcohol. When not in use, store the product in the protective dust bag, filled with papers to keep the shape. There can be natural signs on the leather surface, such as differences in grain, scars, insect bites and other imperfections. Since the bag's body is hand-woven one by one with recut leather pieces, the texture, color and grain of each hexagon piece may vary. This is what makes each Mianqa bag unique, and should not be considered as a defect.
