A Batchel is a Satchel with a top handle - we are certain of that because we invented it. The Batchel bears all the hallmarks of The Cambridge Satchel but adds some of the practical features of a briefcase; including a nifty top handle and adjustable shoulder strap. The Batchel is one of our best-selling bags and for good reason. This style features a useful interior front pocket for those items you need to put your hands on quickly, such as your wallet, your keys, or your journal (when inspiration strikes!). This unique take on The Satchel has all the classic style of its predecessor but with the added convenience of a top handle and a detachable shoulder strap. If left in direct sunlight there is a chance that the colour of your bag may fade. You may choose to care for your leather bag as with other leather products, by using an appropriate protector. Again, please remember to test any product on an unobtrusive section of your bag beforehand. Although leather is very durable, it is not indestructible. Exposure to extreme cold or heat and improper care or cleaning can crack and dry leather skin, as well as remove finishes and colours. Your bag will age over time; please don't panic as this is normal as it is a natural product. Ordinary Vaseline works well on minor scuffs and abrasions to buff your bag. As well as this, we recommend Delicate Cream to clean and care for the leather. This will assist in reviving and restoring colour to the bag.
