This piece was hand-made by women of the Grace Center in Nepal. 100% of the profits from this piece go back to helping these women, who are rebuilding their lives after leaving the prison system. Beads: 3-4mm Natural Blue Beads and Gold Vermeil Beads About this collection: In 2015, Ballantyne Paige, the founder of Billie Wilde, went on a humanitarian trip to Nepal to look for a purpose beyond herself. She found herself fighting for survival in the April 2015 earthquake with 16 orphans in her care. After finding safety, she made a personal vow to use her life to care for the well-being of others. This collection was designed for the women of the Grace Center, which helps women rebuild their lives after leaving prison in Nepal. 100% of the profits from this collection go directly back to these women, who make every single piece by hand. About gold vermeil: Gold vermeil (pronounced ver-may) is a thick layer of gold over sterling silver. The Federal Trade Commission sets strict standards for anything to be classified as gold vermeil-the gold must be at least 10K (we use 18K) layered over.925 sterling silver with a minimum thickness of 2. 5 microns. Billie Wilde only uses the finest quality of sustainably sourced recycled gold in their pieces.
