SRAM Apex 1 hydraulic disc brakes with a larger 180mm front rotor give you maximum braking control and mean stopping is never an issue either. Sealing gussets and adding masses of mud clearance around 700x45mm tyres mean bad weather will never hold you back. And if that wasn’t enough, the alloy frame and carbon fork have mounts to take a full set of bike packing gear or conventional pannier racks, so the Friston can be ridden as far or fast as you like.
