The 405 is almost indistingusable from Whyte's adult trail 900 series Mountain Bike, this one has just been perfectly scaled down for smaller, 26" wheels. Even the suspension forks have been tuned for lighter riders.The 405 takes the awesome ride feel that you get with any Whyte, and simply put it in a smaller package. This doesn't mean just lopping bits off; the frame has been proprotionately downsized so that not a single bit of ride quality is lost. Even the air sprung forks have been set up for lighter riders as to increase comfort and ride feel.Thanks to the high spec SRAM NX 1x11 drivetrain with trigger shifters, the bike is more akin to the adult 900 series-perfect for budding shredders.The XSYNC Direct Mount chainring allows you to customise chainring size to the size of the rider. The Get-a-Grip seatpost also allows for easy altering of saddle height, depending on the rider. The suspension forks with 100mm of travel are also tuned to smaller riders, so they will stay firmly in control over rougher terrain.
