The 2022 Whyte 802 Compact V4 Hardtail Mountain Bike in Matt Diesel comes with similar equipment to the Whyte 801 but has more compact geometry and is available in sizes down to XSmall, making it more suitable for shorter riders.The 800 Series frame is designed for 27.5 wheels. The 800 Series compact frames use the latest Whyte geometry for confidence-inspiring control. A short stem, shorter top tube and wide 760mm bar combine with a 120mm travel fork for trail-bike levels of performance. A Boost 148mm rear dropout allows up to a 2.8 tyre to be fitted and provides increased mud clearance for year-round trail riding.All the latest generation 800 series bikes feature wide-range 11-46 cassettes.
