It is now recognised that balance bikes are the best way to teach your child to ride and to miss out the stabiliser stage. Most children who have used a balance bike will be riding without stabilisers on their own bike by the age of 4. Very simple to use. The child takes very tentative steps at first. Then very soon they are confident enough to scoot along and lift their legs up. For most, they will be able to go onto their own bike in as little as 6 months. Easy step through frame. Metal frame. Rear calliper brakes. Weight when fully assembled 6.5kg. 14 inch frame size. 14 inch wheel size. Suitable for ages 3 year and over. Minimal assembly.
