Description
The Vittoria Mazza is the result of many years of athlete input and cutting edge tread technology. The Mazza raises the bar in mixed terrain Enduro tyres. It has a defined center tread and uses deep siping in the direction of rotation to allow the tyre to roll fast whilst opposing drift, especially in off-camber terrain. The leading edge is stepped to roll like a ramp but dig in on the climbs, this makes the Mazza a good choice for both front and rear tyres. The centre tread has been designed to have substantial room to provide braking traction, whilst accelerating cleanly. Cornering on the Mazza is handled by Vittoria's trademark progressive sipe width technology. It gives a gummy inside effective edge but without the instability that other tyres experience on the outside of the tread. Bigger sipes flex more than smaller sipes. This unique sipping pattern also creates an asymmetric tread flex, this results in a predictable, confident and communicative feel at the limit of the tyres when cornering. The Mazza has generous tread depth which claws into a range of terrain. It is stabilised with Vittoria's 4C compound layering process. The four separate Graphene 2.0 compounds are layered, allowing the surface of the tread to remain tacky, whilst the base is planted, resulting in reduced rolling resistance and increase tyre life.
