Description
Stargazing Evening for Two Discover the wonder of the dark skies. At your choice of location you'll be observing learning about and enjoying the night sky at a dark sky location for approximately 1 hour 30 minutes. You'll be provided with astronomy binoculars allowing you to really appreciate the awe inspiring web of constellations above. Gain a greater appreciation of the dark sky including how to find key objects on your own. You're free to bring your smartphone or tablet so you can learn more about how to use apps to help you plan stargazing sessions independently. You'll be given an information sheet and a sky map to take home showing you details of what's visible in the night sky. Perfect for anyone with a passion for astronomy or simply those who enjoy beautiful views in unique surroundings. Minimum age 5. under 18s must be accompanied by a full paying adult Some sites are wheelchair accessible. There will be uneven ground and a short walk from the car park. The experience is available selected nights and times from October to April. Locations include: Cumbria - Alston or Brampton County Durham - Bishop Auckland or Witton le Wear Northumberland - Hexham. Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
