Released in 2010, the Vertigo pendant light was created by French designer Constance Guisset, and is now an iconic lighting piece in modern design. A true star in interior design stores, this light is the darling dear of countless decorators and interior architects. Spotted very early on by the elite eyes of the Milanese gallery owner, Rossana Orlandi, this large chandelier has claimed its place in a string of prestigious permanent collections i venues such as the Moma, the Cap and the MAD. The Vertiga pendant light won the People's Choice Award at the 2006 Villa Noailles festival. Made in France, this pendant light is composed of numerous flexible strips of polyurethane, hand-stretched over a delicate fibreglass frame. The ambition that sparked the project was to develop a graphic pendant light of impressive calibre, while also creating a lightweight and air piece that would add movement to a space. With its real emotional force, this moving pendant is extremely light (less than 500g). It floats freely in space and twirls gently under the effect of drafts... Like a wide-brimmed hat, its mysterious, enveloping shape suggests an intimate space. A true "cabin lamp", it blends naturally into its environment by delimiting a graphic, almost transparent space, as if suspended between floor and ceiling... Vertigo magnifies the light and projects a nice shaded pattern onto the surrounding walls once lit. The arrangement of the light source allows for both intense and diffuse lighting. A remarkable piece of design made according to the highest quality standards ! This lamp requires no assembly. It is delivered folded.
