The Javier Calleja x Vans SK8-Hi brings a new take on one of Vans’ best-loved sneakers with the input of Spanish born artist Javier Calleja. Here, brown suede canvas panels at the front and heel of the high-top sneaker are fused together with a creamy white canvas panel across the midfoot. Hand drawings of Calleja's characters appear across the canvas portion of the upper. A white leather Vans sidestripe marks each side, while the foxing tape bears a rusty orange hue. Javier Calleja is a Spanish born artist from Malaga, best known for his playful yet earnest approach to artmaking.
