For hikes and treks in moderate temperatures, these medium insulation men’s UYN Outdoor Explorer Mid Length Socks help you enjoy the journey and feel good afterwards, with constant ventilation, effective protection and support every part of the lower leg and foot. The socks are made from a blend of Natex, a 100% plant-based nylon fibre that is super-soft and dries very quickly - up to 50% quicker than standard nylon socks - and a Zerodor treatment to control the bacteria that causes foot odour. ‘Cool-Air-Flow’ technology weaves a 3D micro-channel system to circulate air throughout the socks. Engineered solutions for the typical challenges faced by trekkers include a left/right fitting ‘Ergologic’ footbed, ‘Preshock Shield’ at the Achilles, ‘Anti-Impactors’ for the front of the foot, ‘Intericor’ ankle guards that reduce pressure and a localised compression bandage around the ankle.
