UYN Explorer Comfort Trekking Socks are made with technical Subernat nano-fibres for softness, abrasion resistance and moisture absorption. That moisture is then wicked away by Natex, a 100% plant-based nylon fibre that dries 50% faster than comparable nylon socks. Although they are highly insulating, the socks have a 3D structure weave, with air flow micro-channels for constant ventilation. An anatomical ‘Ergologic’ footbed places all the cushioning throughout the socks in exactly the optimum position. That range of protection includes the toes, heel and instep, a ‘Preshock Shield’ at the Achilles, ‘Anti-Impactors’ at the calf and shin, and ‘Intericor’ inner ankle guards.
